The material of the bags for this collection is handmade cotton from a cotton village in North Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast). The village is almost covered with cotton field, the cotton flowers gloom every summer and then a harvest season of cotton balls ... women in the village spin those cotton balls into yarn by hand, colour them then weave with a horizontal machine.
The hand carved buttons, buckles and beads for the collection with teakwood and the other wood are from Côte d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Africa, all hand carved by an African woodcarving artiste DEM who represents traditional African primitive art and leads the scene for more than 25 years.
